Tour of California experience - better late than never

Img_3259_medium

So, I finally got around to posting some photos and comments about our (brief) Tour of California experience last month, on my not-very-active blog ... you'll find it here.  As you can see above, publicity certainly centered entirely around Lance Armstrong.  We didn't experience the clouds of yellow chalk dust others have commented on, but we did use ours for non-Livestrong purposes (ie. promotion of PdC ;-) ).   For actual rider pics you'll have to check out the blog link.

But the biggest question remians, why didn't Lance win?

this Alfredo cockatoo guy keeps winning, but Lance is supposed to beat him in July, what is going on?

Yeah but Lance didn't win either

instead someone who I can only assume is a Hawaiian Hula Dancer, named Lulu, won.

Avoid Jensy though

Speed on the descent can easily be lost when you slam into a tree.

Jimbo's got it right: Jens! with the exclamation point.

All the cool kids will get it. Really. They will. :-)

Glad you had fun, and thanks for posting!

A frozen 'cross ride from this last weekend. As you may be aware we have had siberian conditions here in the UK with a low of -14 degrees centigrade here on saturday morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning so i layered up and set off for a snowy 'cross ride along a roman road. I checked the thermometer when i got back to find it had been -10 throughout the ride! I had a lot of fun though and the views were spectacular.
