MSR: Updated Start List

If you care, here is a link from VeloNews with updated Milan-San Remo Start List as well as previous years winners.

Is that 75 words yet?  Does SB Nation consider hyphenated words (i.e. "Milan-San Remo") one word or two?   Speaking of hyphenations, have you noticed an ever increasing abundance of people with hyphenated last names lately?  Hmm, I guess I'm still not at 75 words just yet.  How about now? Or now?

I was just looking over the list

and it dawned on me just how quiet Stuart O’Grady has been, save for a few sprints at TDU. He still training for cobbles and Roubaix? Or, could this weekend be the race he decides to start riding up front? Pondering that, because before TDU I think he said he was going better than usual for so early in the year, and had trained hard. Not saying he’ll win MSR, just wondering if he plans to race it or train.

Hah, I now have my answer!

He was planning to crash inside the first 50k.

Well ok, but...

Did your favourite rider just win Montepaschi Strade Bianch Eroica Toscana? OK then.

The Liquigas media liason

just picked Benna to win on Twitter. Methinks that’s probably a good sign that he’s riding!

A frozen 'cross ride from this last weekend. As you may be aware we have had siberian conditions here in the UK with a low of -14 degrees centigrade here on saturday morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning so i layered up and set off for a snowy 'cross ride along a roman road. I checked the thermometer when i got back to find it had been -10 throughout the ride! I had a lot of fun though and the views were spectacular.
