Roubaix Velodrome double booked!?
I love this time of year in cycling - it is taken so seriously. Does any other sport have this kind of yearly devotion?
Cyclingnews is reporting that the velodrome for Paris-Roubaix is double booked!? Oh my!
My favorite from the past was the article about the HED Stalingrad wheels although the double booking of the Roubaix velodrome is clever as well.
I don't think Velonews is out yet, but if someone wants to add their linkds, that would be nice.

Hm
Yes, let the annual nonsense begin. One forgets that it’s the next day already at CN…

VeloNews has a good one:
One of the sweetest things today was seeing Tom Boonen go past me backwards on the climbs. .--Mark Cavendish, MSR

I think the part I like best
about the Velodrome article is the name of the supposed Easter festival: “Roubaix Poisson d’Avril”. Cute, eh?

I like the one where the British trackies who didn't medal at Worlds had to ride
their bikes home.
After missing out on medals in both the scratch and Madison, Mr. Milan-Sanremo, Mark Cavendish found himself involved in a frantic dash from Saturday night, Sunday and Monday riding from Warsaw across half of Poland, the breadth of Germany and Holland, plus half of Belgium to reach the start of the Three Days of De Panne on Tuesday morning.

Canadian Cyclist had a good one
apparently they had 100 people sign their petition protesting the supposed demand of the Canadian government that all track cycling funding for the next 4 years be switched over to BMX instead… here and here.
