Eroica Toscana 09 Video

Here's a bit of vid from the Eroica.  I've just found it but it looks good.  CTV should step up and cover this.  I love me some gravel roads so this joint has my vote for instant classic.  That an Italian or lance Armstrong have not won it yet makes it even better.  Next year I'm going VDS shopping for the winner of this race, all else be damned.  How's that for 75 words?

Enjoy!

Egoat, that is a fantastic find

We must find a full stream of this next year – quickly becoming one of my 5 favorite races.

Oh sure, now that Lövkvist won it

You are such a closet Ghey-for-Lovkvist-Columbia-Fanboy

Seriously , it’s a bit strange that the RCS haven’t done more to get live coverage of this race. Almost all fans have taken to it immediately and RCS seem to be serious about promoting it as they gave it Giro del Lazio’s slot in the calender.

Read the PEZ story, it has some interesting insights to the race. Sounds like a old-school version of an Ardennes-race rather than an italian P-R. Anyway it’s a great addition to the calender.

Did your favourite rider just win Montepaschi Strade Bianch Eroica Toscana? OK then.

Not only that, I'm quickly becoming a

Ghey-for-Team Columbia-fanboy. Do they not liven the races up or what?

Will read the Pez story but I’m already nodding in agreement – can’t you see Jaja and Bartoli absolutely loving this race, circa 1997?

What an amazing race that looks.

And that last km looks truly killing. I had forgotten the fact that Siena is on top of a hill! Benna was really going for it there for mile after mile-impressive that he managed to stay with all the better climby types for as long as he did. Great win for Lovkvist….and I do love the way they say Leenoos ;-)
