And while we wait
Maybe someone can make sense of what is happening to Laurent Fignon’s hair:

Ha ha. Think that started in the TdF he lost to LeMond....
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
He's trying to become more aero
Still looking for ways to find that eight seconds.

It's the little stripe that puzzles me
and the way it has been so carefully trimmed.
If were on a different part of the anatomy, one might call something of a landing strip....

What's up with the head on the coffee table?
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
It's the guest head from the Interbike Media Center
We somehow acquired a head, and proceded to make everybody who entered the media center sign it. There’s some pretty famous names on there!
Taking a polystyrene head in my hand luggage caused me all sorts of problems when it went through the x-ray machines in the airport…
"No worries, officer - it's just a head. I take it with me on all my journeys."
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
"But officer, have you a wig I can borrow? I'll bring it back on my next pass through the airport."

CN now says it's Maarten Wynants, not Wouter Weylandt in escape group.

So it only took them an hour to get that wrong twice.

Peloton should've navigated the 1st cobbles by now
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
Good morning, all.
The first cobbles: #27 Troivilles, 2.2k, 3 stars, with 98k to go.
(In case anyone wanted to know. I’ve got my trusty list of cobbled sections at hand :-))
Mornin'. Did you bring the beer?
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
Many religions use wine in their services; we use beer in the religion of cycling, right?
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
I knew there was a reason I love cycling ^^
Thau shall not have other goods than cycling, beer, food, candy,..
You'd better start without me, I'm afraid; I'm meeting my in-laws for brunch
after the race and have to drive! I’m with you in spirit, though! I could hardly sleep last night, I am so excited…
I couldn't sleep either and was bummed that CN wasn't on at 4 am like they'd said they'd be.
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
Sweet, huh?
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
Current lead 2'55
and (for it wouldn’t be France otherwise) the peloton was briefly stopped at the start of the day by a demonstration in front of the Continental factory. All settled in good humour, no badger required.
I wonder how long they've had that tradition
A Sunday in Hell shows two demonstrations, and that’s 1976.
Oh my, I've just fallen in love with Roger De Vlaeminck's sideburns.

Morning all.
I’m logging into ctv (or trying, at least) and watching “today at the Masters” on tv. But I was mislead! I don’t see any evidence that they’re going to golf in the mud and over some cobblestones while the crowds rush right up to them screaming.
