I will not be standing for Boonen
…that’s right, I’m gonna crawl to bed…

Pippo not quitting
I though he’d wilt under adversity. Respect.

do you try to save it late? Or chase back as soon as possible?

I don't think there is any strategy here
Just riding on the limit
Brooklyn Chewing Gum: Vlaanderens Mooiste
Strange how Boonen looks to be absolutely hammering it, Pippo looks like he's given up.
But gap isn’t really going out.
smooth roads mostly now
Pippo’s only hope. Or a train.

He’s not just a sprinter, he’s STRONG too.

beautiful beautiful beautiful
Tom is so strong I was calling it wrong for sure.
Bad luck though with those crashes, helped him when he needed it.
indeed
VanSummerale took out the strongest chaser (Flecha), but Thor just couldn’t follow Tom’s pace and hit the barriers.
Brooklyn Chewing Gum: Vlaanderens Mooiste
he actually was following the pace, higher than the pace, that is why he hit barriers
combined with a little bit of misjudged cornering

And that is why
Tom hit each cobbled stretch at the front.
Brooklyn Chewing Gum: Vlaanderens Mooiste
maybe not maybe not, maybe a strong one going tooo fast
or as I suggsted above, very very easy to misjudge corners on narrow cobbles when you are smoking along
He was following Tom's line
Just couldn’t hang at that speed.

Too bad about Elmiger
Sigh…I guess that season was too good to last.
I didn’t have feed at that point—is it just really bad road rash, or did he scrape down to muscle?
Huge thanks guys!
What a spectacular race. Never a dull moment!

a crash at the wrong time will do that, yes.
You could say that for the earlier large crash, too, though.
no he screwed it over... Im bitter
he made the selection for boonen

Boonen:
Hardest PR ever, I crashed at the start. Felt very bad today at the start, just hung in there. Did you see thor crash? No, didn’t see that, noticed it first when I wanted him to pull.
11 injuried in the moto crash, 3 in critical condition.
How come you get post-race interviews
And I get Dave McKenzie and Tommo yapping away in the studio?
oh god
please don’t mention their names…I’m on the verge of sending a message to cycling central complaining about this!
Better see the podium...
I wanna see Pippo looking fabulous up there!
I think I saw
limbs go in unnatural directions when we saw that crash. Not really keen for a replay.

He seemed okay after the crash before Arenberg
So he must have got nailed in the big one in the forest.

for the fun and for jockeying links!
You may very well think that; I couldn't possibly comment.
Hoste very sore loser. Bad bad \o/
Mad at Flecha, not only for the crash but also, wait for it, … for attacking! Pschah.
