Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

I'm hoping this race catches on in a big way. Unfortunately the Tour de Georgia appears to have lost it's momentum but this race taking place during that same time frame seems to have lots of potential. It does seem kind of odd though that with all the people in the northeast of the USA that we don't have a connection here at PodiumCafe that is either participating in or otherwise attending this race. Somebody make a liar of me. Please!

Agreed!

Surely someone can let us know what is going on.

I picked up some race info that might be of interest to some.

This is from this morning’s local (Schenectady, NY – Daily Gazette)

I get the impression that this race will take off in the not to distant future. You got to give the organizers props for getting this race together and showing that you don’t need a big city to generate 50,000 spectators. I’m going to keep looking for today’s results.

CN has some early results.

1. Scott Nydam BMC
2. Karl Menzies OUCH
3. Francois Parisien Planet Energy

Now I need pictures. The storyline. Why wasn’t Lyne or Hons there? It’s close enough to Montreal. And Boston, ahem, for that matter.

A frozen 'cross ride from this last weekend. As you may be aware we have had siberian conditions here in the UK with a low of -14 degrees centigrade here on saturday morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning so i layered up and set off for a snowy 'cross ride along a roman road. I checked the thermometer when i got back to find it had been -10 throughout the ride! I had a lot of fun though and the views were spectacular.
