Chimay Tripel. Any good?

My anniversary was on MS-R day and traditionally Mrs Van P buys me a couple big bottles of Chimay Trappist Ale (red or blue) which I enjoy during the Ronde and P-R (She's a good sport..).  This year the liquor store was out of the red and blue, so she bought me the tripel (beige label).

Will I enjoy this?  It was more expensive than the blue, so I assume it's above that in the Chimay hierarchy.  Should be a good race....

Never tried the tripel

but the Chimay website gives a good description of what to expect. Can’t imagine it not being YUM.

Had it today during the Ronde coverage

on vs. Mrs Van P stole some as well, but it was really outstanding. Not as sweet as other Chimay’s, but very bold and crisp.

A frozen 'cross ride from this last weekend. As you may be aware we have had siberian conditions here in the UK with a low of -14 degrees centigrade here on saturday morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning so i layered up and set off for a snowy 'cross ride along a roman road. I checked the thermometer when i got back to find it had been -10 throughout the ride! I had a lot of fun though and the views were spectacular.
