I didn’t read that article – but yes, they are re-testing the Giro samples for CERA. The samples were seized by the criminal authorities as part of an investigation centered in Padova. It’s related to both the Sella and Rebellin cases.
In Italia, the laws allow for collaboration between the criminal authorities and the anti-doping institutions. So, they share evidence. We’ll see what comes of it, anyway.
