Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

Welcome to July!

Tourbecco_mediumFor all our (OK, my) talk about how the Classics and/or the Giro are the highlight of the cycling year, it's fairer to say that we amp those races up to counter the media void and total lack of appreciation of their greatness state-side. Ultimately, the Tour de France is still the biggest race of the year, and it's time to declare Tour season. Actually it already was, but I needed time to get my color request in. Might still do some tinkering with the designers.

Tourbecco says: "Oh shizzle! It's Business Time!"

Looks kinda orange to me

But then I’m color blind.

Hey Chris! I got an idea! Next year for the Giro, turn the color pink!

P-I-N-K

I hear it’s one of those whatchmacallits, a color!

ursula pats himself on the back for his genius suggestion.

Sweden's better

Which one beat Duke this year in basketball? Michigan.
Which has RichRod as a coach? Michigan.
Which has Maggy? Sweden.

Sweden wins.

if you're going green, make sure it's a real kelly green (the old points jersey color)

not that new pts jersey green

If only the fishy jersey were still around

I’d have even more reason to look forward to the Vuelta.

dude

I’ve been thinking the horn socks could be altered to represent the three lesser jerseys. We already have white.

Chris can always request further changes after you’ve lived with it for a bit.

also, one must remember that bright yellow does not convey well on most computer monitors

cause the yellow just disappears

Yeah

I think the support guys understand this very well. They’ve dissuaded me from faded yellow before.

Were we on SBN v2 during the Tour last year?

Or was it the old version?

right before the Giro.

If you try another version of this arguing...

…that ultimately, it’s all about the Vuelta, we’re going to start worrying about you. Just FYI.

business time

If you don't have time to do it right the first time, when are you going to have time to do it again?

by CannonDowell on Jun 12, 2009 12:14 AM EDT reply actions

It just has to be easy on the eyes, that's all.

Three weeks of staring at computer/tv screens until somewhere between 1am and 3am, then dragging the sorry arse in to work to spend 8 hours staring at a computer screen…

Please, just let it be easy on the eyes ;-)

Welcome to July?

That’s a mighty timegap. My theory:

Bruce Suomi = Santa Claus = Tourbecco.

Sweden turned into Australia?

Can we have the weather too, please?

Bork, bork, bork!

We need to adapt here if we get a yes on this. I'm crossing my fingers

down here in Grove, New Scania. You should do the same in Wheats Landing, Little Country.

A frozen 'cross ride from this last weekend. As you may be aware we have had siberian conditions here in the UK with a low of -14 degrees centigrade here on saturday morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning so i layered up and set off for a snowy 'cross ride along a roman road. I checked the thermometer when i got back to find it had been -10 throughout the ride! I had a lot of fun though and the views were spectacular.
