Tour de Suisse Stage 3....Live!

Big cat 1 climb halfway through: will it keep the sprinters from doing that thing they do so well? Tourbeccow says: moooove over for the sprinters! Thoigh perhaps the more climby-challenged of the fast men might not make it to the finale.

i base it on the hierarchy... you didn't respond to a previous post... so, in my mind, that makes you 2nd

Evening!
One day down, four to go. I promise you that Monday will end ;-) (word from the future, so to speak).
Ohh have to agree with that
Luckily I’m not working tomorrow.. wahooo

Wow, judging by the time...
…that you’ve appeared here, you sure have! I can empathise… to top off a somewhat unpleasant day, I got stuck fixing other people’s
f-ups at work, and left the place long after I should have. But hey- Monday’s over now :-).
budget time
from now till maybe end of July, I don’t see myself having any easy time.
and I’ll have to slot in le tour!
I need everyone to join me in a rain-dance, please.
The bastards that I work for are interrupting supply on Wednesday. 20:30 – 03:30. Like, when cycling coverage happens in this part of the world. Yes, that’s a mighty long outage – one of the disadvantages of having underground supply (when the power does go out, it’s out for a Very Long Time).
Yes, I rang the relevant co-workers. You should have heard ’em laugh at the depot when I offered to forward them the 2009 race schedule, to consult for any planned works in my area :-( .
So now we just need a downpour on Wednesday evening. By the time that they get traffic control organised for a new date, and give the required notice to customers, Suisse will be over ;-) (so long as the new date is still in June, it’s all good).
I can dance for you
but sure you want to risk them move it to July?
I mean, Swiss cows are lovely….but….you know….
Oh, I think that a stunt like this in July
would mean that I would be watching the race in at the office. If I’m at the office, I shall be Paid. Full penalty rates. Plus cabfare.
Although… I KNOW that the trucks have generators…. and the work is happening at the corner just near my building… maybe they can park outside and I’ll throw ’em an extension cord ;-). Yup, I can hear the guys laughing now…
Now that is so funny.. Hopefully you don't live in a area of drought
and we will be dancing all night..hehe

They want a list of systematic reviews on various anti nausea drugs.
I thought at first that it would be managable as the first few drugs didn’t produce much, but then the last one turned out to be massive. The limits they’ve asked for make hardly any difference. So now, they have to get back to THEIR clients….and I wait. Zzzzz.
Adrenalina Italiana!
Tell 'em that Lou said...
… that Stemetil is first choice, but if you can’t keep the tablet down then go for Maxalon suppositories. Problem solved ;-)
It was actually bad to be called ma' nigger... anyway
Anybody knows if anyone didn’t turn up to the start today? Yes, I’m thinking naughty thoughts and I’ll move any talk about this topic to another post if someone big has gone home suddenly.

Dutch news..
Clement win sunday? wasn’t hist first in line.. He won a stage in the Elektrotour in 2003..
Second.. With the win of Terpstra the ‘dryness’ of winning was over for the Dutch.. 2007 was the last win for a Dutch in the Pro-Tour.. They compensate that now with almost 3 wins in one round.. Waaay to go!

ouch did he really?
And we now watch Garmin rebuild their TDF squad around stage hunting and sprinting.
Vaughters said re: CVV
That he’s interested to see if CVV improves by the end of the race, the last two stages in particular. I took that to mean that CVV is out of shape now and we’ll see if he can ride himself into shape.
First race since the crash, right?

Sheeeesh... sure is!
It came out kind in dribs and drabs. Now we can wonder if he’s one of the 50. But until he is he’s suspended for two weeks, or basically the Suisse Tour.
No
though it may get lost in the avalanche…

I missed this too.
Curious as he has been very prominent this year, far more so than I remember before….not that that necessarily means anything of course.
Adrenalina Italiana!
Reading the story, doesn't on the face of it seem all that serious.
These whereabouts forms seem a bit of a nightmare so could easily have been an honest mistake….

One mistakes don't you get suspended.. Espacially in the Astana team
Crashdan: "Veni Vidi Vici beats Wing Kong Exchange... … and I’ll change my signature to a backwards smile for a month."
Frining "It's what he thinks.. But he always do.. I eat my shoe if he ride top 15 in le Tour" about Devolder
So far, they're just reporting trouble getting whereabouts in.
The team has suspended him for 15 days, presumably to make sure he doesn’t mess that up again. Could be indicative of a bigger problem, but could just be carelessness…
Trivia: which guy, with one of the cleanest reps in the peloton, came within one missed test of a suspension?

Matti Breschel? Thor Hushovd?
Know both had two missed tests from 2005-2007, thereabouts.
Maybe someone has already mentioned this but couldn’t this be Bruyneel doing a littly war against the Kazakhi sponsors?

The answer is...
Mark Cavendish.
I’d filled in the forms, done everything I was supposed to but what I didn’t realize is that the ‘exception’ didn’t change my training venue; in other words they’d still expect me to be at the velodrome on a Tuesday even though I’d be on the Isle of Man…The next April, Ed and I were bundled off to Germany and Sparkasse, and in the chaos of last-minute packing, I forgot to fill in my whereabouts form…Boom! Second missed test.

But when I click on ‘home’ I go back to the old CN. Odd.
