I hate it when people send information in a Word document!
Just type the damn text in the e-mail itself! What’s so hard about that? Or if you MUST type it in Word, paste the content into the mail, don’t attach the document for god’s sake.
“Please read attached info.” And when you open the damn thing it only has two more sentences! ARGH!! Worst of all is when people send you images via Word documents. Oh man.
(Replace ‘Word’ with ‘Openoffice’ or other word processor where applicable.)

I do not have Word
I use Openoffice less and less. It really is a total drag to have to open the document (which definitely takes more than 3 seconds if the application is not open yet!) when it could just as well have been written in the mail.
Also, what rbjhan says: Word documents may contain viruses.

In Netherlands Dutch the “van”, “de”, “der” etc. interjections are in lowercase if preceded by first name or initial: Adri van der Poel, A. van der Poel. Without first name or initial (also, of course, at the start of a sentence) then the first one is in uppercase: Van der Poel.
Typical Flemish Dutch is to join those words with the last name: Frank Vandenbroucke. You won’t see that in Holland. If not joined, they are all in uppercase: Jurgen Van Den Broeck. Won’t see that here either. The most hopeful of all am I to this maybe securing Irizar a top 10-placing overall as seing he is one of the best time-trialists in the break – aupa!
