That’s a bit surprising. Maybe he wasn’t going to go anyway, not sure. Sorry not to see Nieve there but hopefully he’ll do the Vuelta…might have been a bit early to blood him at the Tour anyhow.

I’m also a big fan of Nieve.. But maybe a little to optimistic to let him ride the Tour.. But he did ride a good Dauphine.. Finishing in the top 30 in some mountain stage.. He is so going to rule the Vuelta 2011

Wish SamSan was doing it. I guess he’ll have a good shot at the Vuelta podium, but seriously, can he not do both? Where the heck has he been since the Ardennes?! He’s hardly over taxing himself. Still don’t really get why Landaluze isn’t going, but I really hope they can nick a stage or two. Look out for my Euskie jersey on the Ventoux ;-)
