The Cobra to ride again

Word from Tuttosport is that Riccardo Ricco signed a contract yesterday with Ceramica Flaminia, to begin March 10, 2010. His first race back will be Milan-Sanremo, should the team get an invite.

I've been unable to find the story yet in Tuttosport's online edition, but it's being picked up all over--see Eurosport.fr, Sportweek.nl among others.

Why do you think they called CERAmica Flamina?

Bwahahahahaha

Staring at the swim team gets you killed by a gang of dancing ninja men who know how to twirl.

Is Simeoni riding on next year...?

Can’t think they’ll get on too well!

I for one...

liked to watch Ricco— hopefully he can come back clean and still be as explosive. He was fun to watch in the same way that a heel is in wrestling (not that I watch Pro-wrestling these days, but you know what I mean.)

+1

Cycling needs more colourful characters. Too bad many of those were proven unclean.

The reason why Ricco was so "colorful" and brash

Is because he was on drugs….it’s pretty easy to show up to a race and talk trash about the competition when you have an unfair medical advantage. Now, assuming he’s not stupid enough to use again, I predict we’ll see a much more reserved and cautious character.

Certificate?

So does Ricco get to keep his high hematocrit certificate?

If so he might still be a danger on the climbs—-assuming that he can, Millar-like, keep his weight down during his time off.

Gazzetta has it now, too

Linky.

Quite the come-down given how he was running his mouth a month or so ago about major teams knocking on his door. Heh, he couldn’t even get Diquigiovanni to sign him. He also claimed that Mercatone Uno was going to build a team for him. D’oh.

Riccò and Simeoni?! Bahahahahahaha.

Excellent silliness for a Friday.

I simply cannot wait for the pics

of Ricco and Simeoni standing together with forced grins on their faces….

Also

Stop me before I re-post the graphic of Riccò in jail stripes ;-)

And his official site still is at cobraricco.it...

So Cavendish can register wormricco.it.

Good news

Riccò to return with “humility”
