Lance can still take second

Lance looked pretty well in stage 17, but he is now too far back to win the Tour unless

Contador is injured, or bonks.

Lance, Wiggins, and Kloden have one time trial and mountain stage to cut in on the Schleck

brothers for the podium. Lance and Kloden have shown they have done it before, and

Wiggins is having his best tour ever.

Lance only has to make up a 1:29 for the second place finish, which would be

amazing for an older athlete on a comeback.

It was also too bad that Levi crashed, broke his wrist, and had to quit. Vande Velde is also

having a good tour. Aussies are not laughing about the Cadel Evans meltdown in 32'd

place.
