Cav was strong
Thor looked fine to take second. But Cavendish dang!
The cadence difference between Cav and Thor is pretty amazing
Cav has such a higher cadence.
So, Thor is up by 25 points
which means, barring anyone getting any intermediate sprint points, Thor needs to finish in the top 15 in Paris to win the green jersey
Also 2 tomorrow
If Cav can get any of those (I’m expecting he won’t get any points on the stage finish tomorrow), he could make it a little uncomfortable for Thor

Phenomenal sprint - Cavendish truly brilliant there
..can’t argue with that talent, though Thor & Ciolek pushed him hard.
So when was the last time a person won 5 possibly 6 stages and didn’t win the Green Jersey?
So wish Cav hadn’t lost those points – would have been “mano a mano” between Thor and Him. Such a tragedy for the TdF points competition and so pointless (no pun intended)
