You can tell the poor guy landed on his face and slid... He won't be in Paris, which is a shame and he'll certainly be missed there.

was just looking to see if anyone posted this as a fanpost/shot.
He looks bad but not as bad as I expected. He’s clearly in good spirits. As if Jens! would be any other way. I’m thinking that isn’t his real hospital bed. Maybe he had too many personal items in his room (or family) to use it for a public video so they used an empty one.
Decorations are for the weak, ZR!
Jens! does not need such trivialities. Also, I didn’t count his fingers, but I’m pretty sure they gave him an extra one or two so he will be able to give more people the finger at the same time. And on a serious note, I am really, really glad that he is not dead. That crash made me want to cry. The guy is hands down my favorite cyclist and knowing that he is getting better and that he will be back on the bike is a huge relief.

It’s depressing to think that we’ll only be watching Jens! ride for another year. What hard men will the peloton have left after he and O’Grady leave?
