Versus live streaming?
Has anyone opted for the (pay) subscription to Versus' live streaming yet?
I guess it will be a bigger issue tomorrow morning when many of us are at work... Silly me, when I heard Versus would be live streaming, I didn't even thing about it being pay-per-view. Viewing is available as either a full package or on a single stage basis.
Thoughts?
So much to read, watch and do for the next 3 weeks!

Pay for VS? Ha you already have to pay to recieve Versus TV
plus they show the replay of the stage 5 time a day or so. I guess no commercials is an advantage but they should take the Universal route, I’m still incredibly thankful to US for the free streaming.

i know - that was my thought, too! if nbc/us can do it for "free"...
those of that might pay are already (probably) watching it multiple times on tv. at a minimum i watch my tivo’d version of the morning call and if I see that live, i’ll watch the b team at night.

the versus live streaming is not what is shown on the versus broadcast
there are no commercial breaks, no features. just the commentary by phil and paul (tho for stage 2, almost three hours of commentary was by matt keenan), and it is not the same as the commentary on the versus broadcast.
of course, the video-on-demand is not available yet, so that might be the same as the versus broadcast, but i’m hoping it’s not. i’m hoping that versus does right off the bat what universal sports did, have the VOD be the live streaming and not the broadcast, or a choice between the live stream and the broadcast (that universal sports eventually did beginning with stage 7 of the giro).

I'll have to do this at some point
TTT is one day I expect to give in. I will also be away for Mont Ventoux, and may have to scurry for an internet connection.

I got it today and didn't pay.
I’m wondering if that was by accident? I clicked on the top and it let me in. This was after all the other live streams got shut down. Crossing my fingers for tomorrow.

streaming version is great, compared to broadcast.
Too bad they seem to have totally f*cked up my subscription when I changed from “one day” to “whole tour.” They now have no record of my e-mail on file, despite having sent me two messages. And I can’t log in.

Logged in today. Stage 5
Sketchy audio but beats not seeing it, I’m at work.
Which Aussie commentator is this?
He’s not bad.

matt keenan starts, then switches over to phil & paul, then back to matt keenan for the post-stage
