The race, from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd August, will provide some spectacular racing with seven times Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong bringing his Astana team to Ireland for the first time. Six times Tour de France stage winner Mark Cavendish (Columbia – HTC) also returns to Ireland where he scored three consecutive stage wins last year.

Looking forward to this...apparently it's on ITV4 in the UK
but I don’t know whether that’s just highlights or live. Anyone know?
"If I were World Road Race Champion, I would wear black shorts. That probably has more to do with me being on the wiser side of 30 and understanding better that the decisions I make now never really go away. White shorts would not be something I'd be proud of...." - David Millar, in Rouleur.
highlights i think
was looking at the radio times for next week, and it has highlights of the first stage, friday at 7. although they may show the weekend stages live, they did that with the tour didn’t they…should be good either way!

sorry it's only 3 days
I enjoyed this race last year – lots of pretty scenery. And I think the tourist board was sponsoring, so we got daily highlights show in the US each night.
just had a look at the startlist
and see mike creed is riding…awesome. his interviews on nyvelocity were hilarious, and he seems like a really good guy. hope the an post team can do something here as well.
