Vattenfall Cyclassics... LIVE!

Here we go [am putting this up early to start the pre-race chatter]. I am going salmon fishing (field study?) in the pre-dawn and may not be around for the festivities, but that's never stopped y'all from having a great time before. Cycling Fans has a note up anticipating our need for video; with Steephill.TV on a little vacation, CF is your best bet for live links. Hope I can join you, this should be entertaining.

Yay!
I suppose this means I had better get to sleep so I can get up and watch it. Anyone have any idea when live video will start?
Vattenfall website:
http://www.vattenfall-cyclassics.de says Eurosport TV video coverage starting at 1530. So 1530 minus 9 hrs is 6:30am. Think that is right.
Oh great. 23:30 - 01:00
5 hours of sleep before work tomorrow just won’t do. Buggrit.
Would it kill them to race in the morning occasionally? Just a couple of hours earlier, that’s all I ask. (And just occasionally, ’cause I am mindful of the US contingent, LOL)
Podium!!!
Actually, I might be out…going for a long ride. We’ll see. But come on Benna! (in my dreams…)

Afternoon all!
Looks like i’ll be missing this one :( Meeting with somebody, taking some photographs for her society’s leaflet so we have to meet to walk round what i’ll be photographing and i’m still waiting for her to call so we can meet.
Does she not know i have some vattenfall to watch?
Cmon…i don’t really mind. Would be nice to see Rojas get a win though, heh ;)
Enjoy!

One hour ago
Andres Sergio de Lis (EUS) and Yuriy Krivtsov (ALM) had seven minutes.

I'm wondering if this is a live ticker
or an extended Cyclingnews ad.

Yeah, really.
Rather short of actual live race news.

I foolishly thought I may be able to watch this race somewhere
How naive…

Give it another 15 minutes--according to CF, that's when live video should start.

Finally an update.
90 km left, 4:30
Throughout the stage all I kept on thinking was: ‘don’t finish second, you can’t finish second again’.--Heinrich Haussler
from the live ticker
there is/was a strong headwind slowing the field and the gap is 4.30 to the break duo of de Lis and Krivtsov
(The translation is hard to follow)
Yes, they are currently 15+ minutes behind the slowest official timings due to the wind
On the bright side – when the streaming turns up we get more of the race
Live video

About 71 km to go.

My latest project is a proposal to the UCI
All returning dopers should wear those shorts when their suspensions end. Possibly in a yellow/brown colour-combo.
ooohhh you may be onto something.
