Lance Tweet 08/17: "Hey Glasgow, Scotland! I'm coming your way tomorrow. Who wants to go for a bike ride?"
Edited to add: drat, I always format these FanShots incorrectly. If I want to embed a video, do I use the "Link" or "Video" choice when starting?

I thought it was a rather nice thing to do
if for no other reason than I doubt very much that anyone else could lead an impromptu group ride of 300 or so in Britain without major grief from the coppers, local authority, assorted motorists etc. So many cyclists on the road & having fun; good to see, I think.

Civetta is right - noone else could have pulled it off!
The two things I like most about the BBC video are
- that the BBC reporter is going on the ride
- the way the WPC pats LA on the back as he sets off
Is getting a lot of press – including
The latest from The Herald – It’s not every day you get to race LA up the High St
and The Times (recently updated)
Local paper’s website remains unimpressed. LA story currently less important than Bus Stike in Aberdeen
