Tour of Poland Stage 2 LIVE

Today's stage is 219.1km from SEROCK to BIAŁYSTOK. Mainly flat with what I would describe as a rippling 3x6.5km final circuit with what looks like a slight kick at the finish. It includes two intermediate sprints and 1 KOM

Official website (choose btwn Polish, French, English).

Live ticker in polish  (google translations don't work too well).

Video (TVP1) is georestricted. cyclingfans is trying to find alternatives. Supposedly Eurosport is to start coverage today. You know the drill, check the website often for possible links.

Stage starts at 12.25/12.40 local.

[13:10] The pace is very strong, over 51km/h on the first 20km. The bunch doesn’t let anyone to escape, beacause the time bonuses on 3 intermediate sprints may let a rider from the top 10 fight for the yellow jersey.

The advantage is 6 min now. The bunch will let them for about 10 min. advantage.

A frozen 'cross ride from this last weekend. As you may be aware we have had siberian conditions here in the UK with a low of -14 degrees centigrade here on saturday morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning so i layered up and set off for a snowy 'cross ride along a roman road. I checked the thermometer when i got back to find it had been -10 throughout the ride! I had a lot of fun though and the views were spectacular.
