Yeah.
And damn.

Incredible strength
for her to fight as long and as hard as she did, and for Fatty to support her with such dedication.
What I found stunning was the lack of self-pity in his writing. It was honest and sincere. Heart-breaking at times, at other times hilarious, it faced the future with quiet courage rather than rancour.
An incredible example.

You said it perfectly
With their fight and their dedication, they made the world a better place.

sad day
The amount of good Susan and Elden were able to bring to the world as a result of their fight, and the way they’ve handled it, has been awe inspiring, as has been the response of the cycling and cancer communities. Like Susan, we are lucky to have someone like Elden amongst us, and like Elden, we are lucky to have witnessed the great courage that Susan has shown. Unlike both of them, however, our lives have not been turned completely upside down by their terrible ordeal. God bless them for turning their personal tragedy into something positive for the rest of the world.
Fight Like Susan!

sad indeed
the kind of thing that you can never really prepare for.
"I had a cameraman filming me on the back of a bike, I rode up to him and
said: 'hey, this is a pretty shitty situation, why don't you just leave me alone with my misery? I was close to punching him off his bike … but I didn't, of course."" Jens!
