Vuelta Stage 14 Granada - La Pandera......LIVE

Vuelta-live_mediumLa Pandera. This is where the Lorem meets the Ipsum. Also it wouldn't surprise me if we see some purus fermentum along the way. Some would say that vitae pharetra justo commodo quis, but I have no idea what that means.

So far the andalucian climbfest-weekend has been more about  gradual selection than decisive attacks. Surely someone will throw caution to the wind and go for the Big Prize today?

well i'd have never guessed space filler either,

i was quite disappointed really. Thought he’d google translated his text into latin – to give us the sunday mass in latin. Which i thought was a wonderful idea – leave it mysterious. Way more powerful that way. Or maybe he’d dug up some old profound latin text and copied it in, and the clue to what it was or translation would come later. Nah, just space filler. Srsly Dan.

And by the way, sunny today, was sposed to rain but nary a cloud in sight. yesterday had some sprinkles to go with the cloudy clouds.

You've had sprinkles on bread?

Never heard of that anywhere in the States. Where I’ve lived, the natural habitat of the sprinkle is ice cream, although they do wander onto cupcakes and other frosted items from time to time.

Bread, never.

Does anyone know why Greipel and dozens of others were all docked 25/30 points yesterday in the sprints/green jersey competiton?

Have looked but cant find anything. Does mean he is now only 6 points ahead of AVV instead of 31.

Thanks for that

Assumed as much but as usual the Vuelta website has nothing…

Then Harmon also to rescue saying Greipel first high profile victim of rule modification by UCI, and like a saddo I looked it up…

The commissaires panel may extend the finishing time limits after consultation with the organiser. In case riders out of the time limit are given a second chance by the president of the commissaires panel, those who are classified in the classification by points shall have confiscated the equivalent points awarded to the winner of this same stage to their individual general classification by points.

Still cant find the Vuelta time limits anywhere though :(

Am left assuming they same as TDF – where Voss/F Perez would have been unpenalised but the rest would have been
