He was never officially sanctioned...The case just "disappeared". He has been racing in Croatia and the Balkans
the last year and a half. CONI was supposed to be going for a lifetime ban with the Oil for Drugs but he weaseled out of it.

Jeff Louder (BMC) is a scratch for the Road Race... He contracted H1N1 so he is out.
Don’t know if his place is being taken by anybody…my guess would be Zirbel, if at all, since he is all ready there

Final selection depends on whether Cavendish is fit or not. They appear to be giving him as long as till Thursday.

According to Lionel Birnie it’ll be Stannard who’s left out if Cav’s fit (& d be rather sad about that). I would say that Millar & tthe Barloworld & Cervélo contingents are certain, & if Russ Downing is left out there’ll be riots in the street. Possibly.
