Following up on the AST remnants, UCI has declared that it won’t allow Vino to become DS. They will withdraw the PT licensewhen that happens. According to Pat, “Vino is a cyclist, and he isn’t on the course list to follow a training for DS and managers. It is impossible that he will lead the team”,

you need to pass a ds course that the uci runs and certifies.... that was announced quite a while ago

The UCI actually runs courses?!

Oh dear god that can’t be good. I can’t see the UCI making a decision on Astana team leadership until 2013, unlike Bert who believes the UCI will “play a key role” in figuering out Astana’s future(via VN). Man Bert has a lot to learn when it comes to the UCI

have you ever tried Active Release Technique for the issue? I’ve used it with great success for years, keeps me on my bike year round.

I know of ART

never had work done personally
But saw their work at Hi Ironman, Very impressive !!
They were fixing people who had exhausted all other remedies. Badly over-trained & injured racers were delighted.
I’ll look up my local provider.

Not Vuelta related but has anyone realized Sella has returned to racing already?

I just say he was on the startlist for the GP Industria & Commercio di Prato tomorrow and then checked cq only to find that he has already done a few one day races in Italy lately. Can’t believe he is already allowed to race…pfffft.
