Last week there was a pretty interesting new race in Sweden called Glasrikeresan, 220 km (37 km on gravel roads) long and open for anyone. The winner was awarded 60,000 SEK (about 10,000 Euro) so the top domestic teams were there.
Take a look at the video above, from the sprint. The Capinordic rider in green who wins the sprint, Christofer Stevenson, got relegated because of irregular sprinting. Instead Team Cykelcity's Thomas Löfgren won the race.
Your opinions on the sprint? Note (difficult to avoid...) the bus that is standing not far from the finish line, the organizers really screwed up there.

Looked like Stevenson had trouble holding his line.
I’m not an official, so I’m not commenting from a position any authority. Just looked like he crossed in front of Lofgren more than once. And yes that bus screwed it up, should have at least had a “gendarme” with a flag there.
The first cyclist to stand up to him. And he did it in silence.

Didn't it look like Stevenson almost ran Lofgren into the curb after taking the center of the lane before they got to the bus?

It is the right call...
Stevenson was going left to right to left to impede the other guy even before the bus was there. It seems that the cykelcity guy would have had an even better shot if it wasn’t for that.

Damn
I really don’t see how you take $10k away from a guy if it’s a grey area. I wouldn’t assume the guy in green knew he was closing the door on the other guy by using the bus (which… WTF?!?!) or that the other guy was coming around him on the left anytime soon. Bad call, says I.

I don't like the call.
One on one with a bus in the mix, gimme a break, Löfgren made the mistake of trying to pass on Stevenson’s right which allowed Stevenson to box him in using the bus.

That is a flagrantly foul sprint
…..the red rider maintains is line, when the green rider moves to the left, the green rider than returns to and CROSSES OVER his original line to box in the the red rider behind the bus. I’d have relegated and fined him.
BAH!!!!....Cavendish?!

Yea I guess the guy in green should just LEAD OUT the guy in red.

Well that is why you never want to be in the front when going into a sprint unless your definitely faster than a guy...
You can’t just weave back and forth and lead him into the bus and not get away for it. The way that Lofgren was coming at the end, if it had been a fair sprint then he would have won.

I am shocked that the bus is there. Someone could've lost an eye.

green rider is all over the place
and out of control. Crossed the other rider’s line well before the bus then almost runs him into the curb where the red guy has to hold up a little. I think the guy was just incapable of holding his line. I think the right call.
