Sagan is smoking. I want him on my VDS team..
Roehregger is impressive too. I know he won Tour of Austria last year. Actually, Milram have been excellent.

HIs win was in '08 but it doesn't matter. He really showed himself and hopefully he can carry it through.

Rohregger? C'mon.. He is just an attacking rider with a slight advantage on the climbs..
Not too special.

You've barely seen a thing little man... great acceleration on a climb too

More than 2:02 minutes, but thanks ;)

No.. You saw on 2.02 how Rohregger stoud still

Well I wouldn't have said it if he was short... that would be unkind ;)

I'm thinking we should be quiet before ursula changes his mind...

Don't worry. I'm always listening...
WITH the VDS spreadsheet out waiting to be amended of course!
Nah, I can’t lie. Sagan’s a one pointer. And you’ll be surprised about Rohrigger’s price.
He's ridden most of this week with 20 stitches in his knee too

I'm not sure. Vlaanderen will know, but he is seriously tough

I have a German Wikipedia page here for him.
Silver in the junior cross worlds in 2008 and Junior cross country MTB world champ it would seem.

He turns 20 in 3 days...not like it really matters or anything.

I namedropped him on the Française des Jeux thread
which mysteriously disappeared. His speaks little Italian, and he mentioned having a difficult time communicating with the Italian contingency during the first Liquigas gathering in early December. At the time, I wondered if that’d hinder his transition. Clearly not!
I didn't actually... 50th after the stage today in the GC. Allez Arthur!

Sulzberger, Cherel, Veikkanen, Matt Wilson, JJ Rojas, Chicchi, Serba, Jackson Rodriguez
All riders who were very impressive in last years TDU and San Luis.
What a killer VDS-squad they made: :-)
One differnece between this TDU and last year..
The competition is much tougher. Last year all the stages were sprints. Now we’ve see 2 more or less breakaways/small peloton sprints. But you’re right. It’s early.. But i surprised me

Damn...this is looking like a lot of my 1 point picks for my U26 VDS team.
Hopefully it is a good year for the young rider
Nice strategy.. And With Schleck and Gesink and Cavendish also U26, me thinks.. It can turn out the winning one

Ooh Bobridge.. What exactly has he done?

Why do you think Mollema isn't on this list Shinebox..
I’m still clueless about shinebox but it seems appropriate here.

What type of rider is Sagan exactly?
seems to me like he is a Valverde type(without the blood bags hopefully) and will be looking at the classics and smaller stage races with an outside chance at a GT in the future.

I think you nailed it on the head. He might be able to go for classifications in smaller tours but he seems like
he would always have that one bad day but it is kinda early to tell.

I think that his ability to time trial remains the biggest question mark.
That definitely lost him last summer’s Mazovia Tour (to Łukasz Bodnar, who had a disappointing season overall) and hurt him in various stages races throughout 2007 and 2008.
Yeah but that can develop
see Bert and Valverde for example. At 19 it’s not surprising his TTing is poor. that’s the last skill many young cyclists learn.

Well, that's why I referred to that as a question mark...
as opposed to simply writing that he’s unable to time trial. From what I’ve seen, that’s the most obvious area for improvement and naturally the extent to which he succeeds in enhancing his time-trialling ability will influence the types of races that he targets. At this point, we’re all speculating…
