Did you rock your Podium Cafe kit at Levi's Gran Fondo?
Scrumming through the three thousand photos taken at Levi's King Ridge Gran Fondo (not organized by rider number, grumble), noticed "Rider #1075" in their Podium Cafe kit. Pretty cool shot, think Kent Williams was snapping from a helicopter at that point.

My best day ever on the bike to boot.
Hope I did the Cafe proud.
Flahutes: Harden the F--k Up!

Very cool
Had my worst day on a bike at the fondo the year before, but had a great day this time around. Weather was perfect. Was psyched in spite of myself to watch Taylor Phinney and Ben King roll by for their call ups. Spent the last 20 miles thinking about beer.
dude
sweet spokes!
Well done, I am a proud hombre today.
For me, Flanders. I think it is the single most beautiful day of racing in the year.

The kit looks fantastic, as well as the rider. Nice legs Bobgade.
That’s the first “good” image of the kit I have seen. Shiny.
I'm sure you mean well
but why would you say that doing the same thing is harder for women? That is sexist and doesn’t help getting women into sports. Sure, on average women have a little less strength but everyone competes on their own level and I’m sure the top women are better than most men, including you and me.
"average women have a little less strength": this is the point
So, it’s more difficult (in comparison to men) for them taking part in a similar sport; I did not want to offend anyone… and surely Albertina is better than me! :-)
If English isn't your first language you are doing great.
Most of us Americans struggle with English and we don’t speak any other languages.

Studied for 5 years in high school and a little bit in university, but have no experience abroad. If I will write some imprecision, you knows why…
no problem
We like having people from all over the world here, so I doubt very much anyone will complain about your English :)
You would get a good laugh if I wrote in Italian, for sure!
oooh! is that you?
when will you post a race report, hmm?
I am in awe of your crossness… but cross in PdC kit = A-MAZ-ING!!!

Yes, that is indeed me! Did you think it might be some pro? Hahaha
Race report, hmm, well I could….I only have pictures of me, not of any of the course or anything, but perhaps I could use crayons?
De cross gaat door!
Style question:
Since the kit didn’t come with socks, what did you decide to go with in the way of shoes and socks?
"It's a lovely thing, feeling that momentum. If you're lucky, it's also about grace." Tim Winton
even after labor day?
"Ants don’t worry, they operate like a fantastic team, they accept obstacles and deal with them in a positive manner, they don’t complain and remain positive. An ant doesn’t work on emotion, is proactive and always chooses the ant role."
KoS will be pleased.

Yes, that is Steele.
He was an amazing dog and an awesome companion for 15 yrs. He is missed very much.

We have a two year old Blue Merle
named Mooney.
Another Blue Merle, Merlin, was my companion for 10 yrs and is also missed.

nice work
Is that a Mapei cap under your helmet?

Nice eye!
With the top cut off to make a visor (a la Tafi)
I save that one for the hardest of days.
