First. My pick to click to win is Boonen today

But than I don't have to buy Conta

I also have a few
6×1 and 4×2. But they are all studs so I am okay with that.

Right now I have 11 1 pointers and I will probably end up with 1 2 pointer.

Jesh, that is quite a bit bottom heavy though I am sure you have a few gems in there.

Well, I had to be able to afford the ones I wanted at the top!
Not sure it’ll stay that way though…that is the first draft ;-)
One important question:
Hart of head question..
Nieve in or out?
"Here the high school level of immaturity will be left to hottitude columns and people like myself." Der Phil. H
Oh I have the same problem...my first 5 riders cost 94 points

Ooh if you all look me next time in the results.. Jut scroll down

Also 90 on the top 5.
Six each of 1 and 2 pointers.

Here's a quiz for y'all, while we await the bike racing...
… what’s wrong with this picture?
The yellow jersey has Discovery Channel as sponsor and not Sky?
"Here the high school level of immaturity will be left to hottitude columns and people like myself." Der Phil. H
Nice catch
"Here the high school level of immaturity will be left to hottitude columns and people like myself." Der Phil. H
We have a winner!
Well done, Jens!
A more serious freak-out is over at corvos… put 00014871-006 into the searchbox…
Which one? The lady?

Oops missed yhe 6
"Here the high school level of immaturity will be left to hottitude columns and people like myself." Der Phil. H
That addles my brain.
Quite apart from the jersey issue, Wiggins’ right arm looks like it belongs to EBH, and then somehow disappears into Wiggins’ body. Weird!
The jersey looks a bit snug on Mr. Hagen.
by Vlaanderen90 on Feb 10, 2010 5:23 AM EST up reply actions
That's what first brought my attention to it
… how baggy Kurt’s jersey looked, compared with EBH’s…
They are deliberately trying to confuse the competition
this is the only way EBH is going to go unmarked in a race this year.
And it's not like Arvesen is going to need it for awhile.
I see waaaaAAAAAaaaay too many barbed wires on calves and arms. They look dumb no matter where they are. Unless they’re on the side of the road blocking cattle.--the King of Style
They made sure
that Kurt was on the squad, too… just in case. That’s attention to detail for you.
Tour de Mediterraneen
Today is start of the 5 day Le Tour Méditerranéen in southern France. The race finishes with a mountaintop finish on the famous Mt Faron climb overlooking Toulon.
Big names: Valverde, Vino, Gesink, Danielson, Cobo, Rasmussen
Snow... weird...
You know, every time you guys mention the snow thing, I have to stop myself from demanding pictures! It’s such an alien concept. I think that I might like to spend some time somewhere where it snows… briefly, and with decent heating…
I'll take a picture out the window if the sun ever comes up.

Oh WOW! Thank you :-)
What are those daft birdies doing sitting in it? Is that normal behaviour…?
there was food down there
It’s under my feeder (took me a few to figure out what you were talking about :)).
Now that makes sense.
Poor flappy buggers… you’d think that someone would have put more food in the feeder for ’em, save ’em getting cold and wet in the nether regions…
Dumb European remark.
Woow. The White House. Way cool! How is to be be a neighbour of the Bush Obamam family. Have you already been asked to babysit? Or you son/daughter. If you have one

Make that European Frinking.. Before I get lots of Euro's over me..
Well at least I tried
"Here the high school level of immaturity will be left to hottitude columns and people like myself." Der Phil. H
The big square one
is the Lincoln Memorial, and the one with the rider in the left foreground is the Capitol (where the legislative body meets). And oh, believe me, there are plenty of Americans standing in front of the Capitol who say to their kids “Look, son, that’s where the President lives!” . . .
Thanks for the try to make me feel good..
Byt guess what..
The opposite happened.. Thanks dude.. I’m doomed
"Here the high school level of immaturity will be left to hottitude columns and people like myself." Der Phil. H
Fuck you.
"Here the high school level of immaturity will be left to hottitude columns and people like myself." Der Phil. H

You need to add to your repetoire...
something like ‘Get stuffed’. The modality’s just a little lower. More you really ;)

Now that really is snow!
I just looked out of the office window to discover that the snow has started up again! It’s not lying, but there’s a flippin cold north easterly wind outside.
Did anything happen to Devolder in '09, or was it just an off year for him?
I did a search online but didn’t come up with anything so I assume no major injuries
"Let’s plunge ourselves into the roar of time, the whirl of accident; may pain and pleasure, success and failure, shift as they will- it’s only action that can make a man" Faust, Goethe
Did anything happen to him?
Yes, he won de Ronde. For the second consecutive time. Job done, and nicely at that, season a success.
Dutch Eurosport is showing tennis
and has no cycling scheduled for today, as far as I can tell. Ah wait, it’s on Eurosport 2, I don’t have that.
And hey, look at that
there’s coverage of a bike race (just doing a review of yesterday, right now).
having fun up there sui?
"Wizard's first rule. People are stupid. They will believe anything they want to be true or fear to be true." -- Terry Goodkind

Are you in the snow band, or just a whole lot of wet?
just outside it this time around
however, we did get nailed by the powder two weeks ago… hkept me in the hospital for two extra days
"Wizard's first rule. People are stupid. They will believe anything they want to be true or fear to be true." -- Terry Goodkind
true.... whoa, just checked the adt video camera for the house... we have puffy snow outside
okay, maybe only a few inches, on top of the sleet from last night

But we get all this pregame coverage.

89 brave DS have already turned in their teams.
I suppose some people just want to get it done, but I can’t imagine not waiting for potential hot picks to emerge from these early races—and of course for the last-minute injury report.

VDS INTERMEZZO!
Top 10 teams on rider cost, for riders costing 12 points or more:
jumpingsharks 6 120 Carbon Croquettes 7 118 Action Potential 7 116 WestIsBest 6 114 gruppo sportivo velochimp 6 114 Team Davis Wheelworks 6 114 Momentum Cycling 6 112 Gorau Beicio Tim 6 112 Voices from the Trenches 6 112 Zambian Z Team 6 110 Dangville Mercykillers 6 110 Vlammende Vedetten 6 110
First number is the number of riders costing 12+, second number is their combined value. What was discussed earlier, combined value of 5 most costly riders per team, is a bit difficult to get out of the database in one query.
Funny you should mention :)
Top X teams on number of riders costing 1 or 2 points:
jumpingsharks 18 20 gruppo sportivo velochimp 17 20 Voices from the Trenches 17 24 Far Darocha 17 25 Vlammende Vedetten 16 20 velos 16 22 Action Potential 16 24 The Instigator 16 24 One More Time 16 24 Buxton Carbonated 16 26 Gravity Assisted Flyers 16 30
(same deal: first the number of riders costing -2 points, second their combined value)
Can you post Wilj and Drew's team?

But U-turns *are* 360 degrees
What are you lot on about…?
That's 90
"Here the high school level of immaturity will be left to hottitude columns and people like myself." Der Phil. H
90 degrees is one quadrant
not a straight line, in my universe…
So if 90 degrees is a right angle, in other words a turn left or right,
that makes a U-turn 180 degrees, right?
I confess, I have roundabouts in mind
doing a ‘u-turn’ at a roundabout is 360, in my book. There was talk of roundabouts…
Dang Bruce gap. I've got 6.

I have no idea.
Downing was pounding on the front a few kms out…impressive but I’m not sure why. Perhaps for EBH? But he was so isolated out there that it didn’t seem much like a concerted team effort.
