Tour of Qatar Stage 1 TTT ......LIVE

Start of the season for many of the big guns. Sortainly many of the sprinters have this race marked in their calendars.
Today's 8,2 km Team Timetrial seems to be about the grudge-match between Sky and Garmin. To the winner goes the right to call the other "Wanker" I believe. Normally though, the day is dominated by Quick Step.
Official start list (official site)
Live feeds expected at 12:00 CET (6:00Am US Eastern)

Well, I'm hoping Tony is sufficiently recovered from the flu
so that the Saxo boys can call everyone else ‘wanker’ ;)
PS. Jens…’ Qatar’ I think even though it flies in the face of the rule. I promise I tried to fight my ‘true nature’…

Do you have to pay extra for the Eurosport
or does it come with the sports package? Not that I would have that anyway…

Damn, damn, damn.
Just catching up with the news. GHH says he pushed Rasch to avoid crashing when the wind blew them together. Knocked from second to dead last—too far back to catch up in a race like this. That’s got to hurt.

Seriously?
That was either the longest “push to avoid a crash” in history or some overzealous adjudication.
Those little pushes are very common in cycling, even in a TTT. What next, no body contact at all?

That is idiotic that they are penalized 1 minute for such a short course. Should have just gotten like 30 seconds or something so they
aren’t dead in the water.
