Time for some GC shakeup as the race to the sun returns to Mende for the steep (3 km avg. 10%) finishing climb named Croix Neuve -Montée Laurent Jalabert. Alberto Contador paved the way for his 2007 P-N win here. Is anyone willing to bet that he won't do the same today?

this race is going to be a wonderful collection of languages: prologue and stage one from sporza; stage 2 and parial stage 3 from keenan feed; partial stage 3 from tdp. i think i’ll stick with tdp for today’s stage….

that I had reserved judgement on some of the kits until I could see them on the road.

But that is one step climb. More likely Schleck will be the challenger to Contador.
