How about you? Is there a cyclotouriste/sportif machin on the Ventoux in June? That might be something for me to try. Otherwise i have to keep hearing miss i-never-climbed-a-hill-in-my-life-but-i-did-the-ventoux Albertina brag and sandbag all the time with no suitable comebacks of my own.

I dropped him because I couldn't see where he was going to get points.

What with being on a team with Kreuziger, Nibali, Pelizotti, Basso, Benna, Chichi, and Sabatini I thought he would be way to far down the depth chart to get his own chances.

He did win the Jr. MTB World Championships.
It’s not as if he’s totally from nowhere.

This maybe from very a smart training schedule where his first big peak of the the year is this race when most top riders are just starting to pedal smoothly.

He has had great results

Not on the road but in cross and MTB, but that matters less.

Actually he raced all of them and very well I might add...

His road results were not as big but he did have a good amount of top placings in Germany, Italy and Slovakia plus his 2nd place at P-R juniors
