Such wishful thinking...I was thinking more of a 3rd Sagan stage win but thats just me

Like to see Chavanel get the time h needs,
But I’ve gone to pieces: I’m seeing Valverde overhauling them all.
and me
and even better with one more from tommeke
"Racing bikes is for the kids, the rest of us just want to feel like kids on our bikes" - Flying Dog
probably no tommeke today since it is a big hillier in Tirreno today
but you can hope =]

Aaghh! Valverde!
The big Spaniards are going to catch them on the climb, and Valverde will take the sprint, won’t he? It’s just inevitable.
it's not an mtf, ya know

It is a bit of a rise...It isn't like it is a cat 1 climb
Just a slow drag up to the finish. Isn’t like Sagan can’t climb. 100m in 4k isn’t very steep.

It really is an up-and-down course today, isn’t it? GCE on the front.
Nice to see Jens! glued to The Accountant’s wheel all day, love it.
just had a good look at the map, no this is not the finish
the loop has it own separate uphill finish apart from this climb
I was wondering that because it looked like they were climbing the same bit that they would be at the finish
but I guess not

I know that CdE have their own interests
but their pull will only help Contador who is confortably in 6th wheel

No
The thing for CdE is to get Valverde to finish first. They can drag Contador but if Valverde wins, that’s 10 seconds and if he gaps Bert by a second or two then it’s game fully on for tomorrow.
big "if"... but, true

by Vlaanderen90 on Mar 13, 2010 10:20 AM EST up reply actions
Hmmm, no.
I managed to get up the steepest climb in the area by the skin of my teeth and that’s only a mini Muur :-/
Oh I am sure you will be able to tackle the Muur...and if your struggling you might get a nice Belgian push
by Vlaanderen90 on Mar 13, 2010 10:24 AM EST up reply actions
yes but oushing etiquette can vary
my wife will tolerate a push when climbing if it’s the back or the saddle ….. but occasionally the bum push can be a little gratuitous ;(

long rides han
I have a day off today….aahhhhh
"Racing bikes is for the kids, the rest of us just want to feel like kids on our bikes" - Flying Dog
if your legs feel badly
after video watching is finished, lay down with your legs up against a wall and gently shake and massage them, feels great and helps recover.
I too had a sore back while cycling long rides
sorry to be the coach with the whip, but a strong stomach will help your back actually.
Ok tell us after you have done 50 situps right ?
I am reasonably flexible. Used to do ballet.
Just not so used to being in that position for so long!
you're doing awesome !
we all support you and cheer you, and offer you a few tips to assist – gentle stretching(more flexibility will help for sure), do some stomach strengthening, do more long rides, stay warm (the bath part), etc
enjoy it all !
getting in and out of the bath counts for two situps,
only 48 more to go.
(or hey ! How about 24 more baths ???)
nevermind its machado

one of these days i'll make it over there,
other than just passing by or through. My girlfriend says they used to have these fantastic storytelling festivals there – festival des contes – they’d go on all night – all kinds of different people from all over – incredible ambience in the old vilages at night with the lighting and all. I guess now they’ve moved it elsewhere – or maybe it moves from village to village now.
