Paris-Nice Stage 7 .......... LIVE

Vuelta-live_medium

We've arrived at the sun and this traditional finishing stage isn't just nice, it's Nice-Nice. With plenty of climbing, the challenging Col de Porte early on and the double feature La Turbie/Col d'Eze before the downhill plunge to the finish, Caisse d'Epargne should at least be tempted to have a go at Contador's leaders-jersey.

yeah, barely made it in time

(barely got back from a ride in time to rush over there – yes rode a bit of their route today plus the col de madone – nothing to add really, just felt like mentioning that – not trying to make anyone jealous or brag or anything – just occurred to me to say that is all) so i didn’t get that many shots – i’m putting the rest up on flickr. I’ll post a linky later.

little bit, not bad - i imagine

Col de la Porte mid-course will be cold enough – but no big deal – they’ll be sweatin – col d’eze later is not that high (500 m) – should be lovely when they’re there.

Instead of using Safari i’m using Firefox, which seems to be working quite well, although it’s not nearly as smart as Safari.

VDS points scale

I am trying to find the reason why our VDS point scale looks the way it does. Why is it different from the UCI ranking for example. Does anyone know where I can find info about that in the PdC Archives? Or do I have to go search at the forerunner site?
