Paris-Nice Stage 7 .......... LIVE
We've arrived at the sun and this traditional finishing stage isn't just nice, it's Nice-Nice. With plenty of climbing, the challenging Col de Porte early on and the double feature La Turbie/Col d'Eze before the downhill plunge to the finish, Caisse d'Epargne should at least be tempted to have a go at Contador's leaders-jersey.

Riding the waves of his form
It has to end somewhere. I wonder where?

Ah
That will be it then.
I was thinking he might do MSR and some of the later spring races.

Luis Leon Sanchez is now third overall thanks to his two seconds bonus. He now leads Roman Kreuziger (Liquigas) by one second.
final stage of pn always is... look for conta to try to escape on the last climb... always does

Peter Sagan (Liquigas) also moves up one spot to 7th overall. He usptaged Spain’s Joaquin Rodriguez (Katusha).
Did you take these pics? What a glorious day..

yeah, barely made it in time
(barely got back from a ride in time to rush over there – yes rode a bit of their route today plus the col de madone – nothing to add really, just felt like mentioning that – not trying to make anyone jealous or brag or anything – just occurred to me to say that is all) so i didn’t get that many shots – i’m putting the rest up on flickr. I’ll post a linky later.
Not boasting at all... and I'm a bit envious(very). They're great shots
and thank you for sharing.

little bit, not bad - i imagine
Col de la Porte mid-course will be cold enough – but no big deal – they’ll be sweatin – col d’eze later is not that high (500 m) – should be lovely when they’re there.
Your pics?
Cool

Today it was really strange. But it's a problem some of us have had for months.
Instead of using Safari i’m using Firefox, which seems to be working quite well, although it’s not nearly as smart as Safari.

VDS points scale
I am trying to find the reason why our VDS point scale looks the way it does. Why is it different from the UCI ranking for example. Does anyone know where I can find info about that in the PdC Archives? Or do I have to go search at the forerunner site?
Gerrie Kneteman: If a football player falls he shouts for his mother, if a cyclist falls he yells for his bike.
i think they wanted to improve on UCI
- was kinda the point. Ursula and Chris and others could tell you more.

That was a joke. Didn’t we all join a club for people whose team needs more points? Its website is podiumcafevds.com.
