Though slightly less oriented on teams with punchy Italian climbers than some other years, without ASA and AND (and Rebellin).

With the Cauberg finish instead of a boulevard in Maastricht, it’s a shame that A&S isn’t here and, for example, TSV is.

Well...They have never been invited to the Amstel gold since the team has been in existence so that is probably the reason.

I would take Cofidis and BBox over those two teams

Astana has a good hilly classics line-up(in fact may be their specialty).

To me

This race looks perfectly suited for Gilbert, full of these nasty little climbs but nothing more then a K or so, plus last year he was the fastest finisher out of the field, just nosing out Cunego.

Garzelli could also be in the mix.
