I have Directv but I'm not excited.

I will use mute button for sure.

oh course it's back

NHL season is getting ready for playoffs. You don’t really think Direct would be able to pass that up do you? I be they have another set of “issues” with Versus right after the Stanley Cup wraps up…. Cynical aint I?

I almost tweeted them

and said “um now if you could broadcast the cycling live” but what is the point! The only time I will watch it is during the TdF.

I am happy

Despite all your curmugendry. I must be the only person left in the universe who enjoys Phil and Paul and watching the magazine programs on Sunday afternoon. I can live with that. :)

I may be a bitch, but I'm not your bitch.

I may be the only person in the universe--okay, at PdC--with a Versus 'Take Back the Tour' t-shirt.

I don’t mind Versus coverage. I like Phil even when he’s not fully on the ball—he’s like a slightly forgetful old uncle who helped introduce me to cycling. Don’t like Craig Hummer, though. His voice annoys me.

Phil did commentary on Oz TV for the Winter Olympics..

without the lure of lance and minus the irritating squabbling to which phil and paul often resort, he was excellent. the fact that only one skier was going down the mountain at a time probably helped.
But phil and paul…they’re the soundtrack of the Tour… just like Crosby Stills Nash and Young and Jethro Tull were there for my teens;)

it's better than no cycling on my tv

It really is

I much prefer to watch a race from my couch on a larger screen than the 17 inch laptop on a barstool in my kitchen.

Thank you for returning to my life cross season!

A frozen 'cross ride from this last weekend. As you may be aware we have had siberian conditions here in the UK with a low of -14 degrees centigrade here on saturday morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning so i layered up and set off for a snowy 'cross ride along a roman road. I checked the thermometer when i got back to find it had been -10 throughout the ride! I had a lot of fun though and the views were spectacular.
