Oscar Freire Plans 2011 Return

So he tells de Telegraaf. He wants to stay with Rabo, though it's too soon to say if the interest is mutual.

[update] OK, we already knew the 2011 part, my bad. I think the story was about wanting to come back to Rabo, but at this point you should probably ignore me.

Good to hear...

Oscarito has always been a baller, stealing wins in GT’s with little team support. Funny how he’s still so loyal to Rabo despite that.

I’m glad he’ll be back.

I've always liked how he handles his bike...

…and seems to find shortcuts over road furniture, gutters, curbs, small children, etc.

Recall a stage of the Tour, or perhaps it was a classic where he shot up an entrance ramp or something, behind the fans lining the street and held off the peloton for the win…recall that one? Or is my mind making it up?

Really like this news!

He’s been a favorite of mine since reading an article a while back that he’s a total klutz off the bike. But on it, and if he’s healthy, one of the most natural and talented riders going. Just something about that makes me smile. Go Oscar!

Here ya go.

Anyone who does this and is multiple World Champ… I’m with him.

A frozen 'cross ride from this last weekend. As you may be aware we have had siberian conditions here in the UK with a low of -14 degrees centigrade here on saturday morning. It was a beautiful sunny morning so i layered up and set off for a snowy 'cross ride along a roman road. I checked the thermometer when i got back to find it had been -10 throughout the ride! I had a lot of fun though and the views were spectacular.
