Who was it that predicted this?

Let's be honest here...
whether Armstrong, Schleck, Contador, or any of the big GT contenders, none of these guys are going to do anything in Milan-San Remo other than have a couple of hours spinning with the peloton and their mates.
Certainly (the organizers cry)
his impact is fairly substantial at any race he attends, but he got sick. This is MSR, there are a few other (real) contenders we think.

Just as I suspected
Milan, San Remo and all points in between absolutely love cancer. This race is starting to make me sick.
Well he didn't sound all that ill on the radio today.
He has a major “slap leather pard” coming up in Corsica with some Pistolaro in a week with a major mountain top finish. A bit of alpine training would be better than a quiet spin along the shore of the Ligurian sea. Methinks.
I doubt he will make it.
He’s not in shape and my guess is doesn’t want to be embarrassed. He’s going to say that the illness took away too much valuable training/race time or something to that effect.
Maybe this is a continuation of the Lance vs. Italy war:
If riding, Lance would be expected to go in a breakaway, just like last year – this is a part of cycling.
But maybe he is sick – for sure he wanted the workout, I’d have to think.
Who will lead Classic Shack?
Rast and Vaitkus....maybe Rosseler
