I would have put Sagan at top of list too.

He’s scary strong. Jens K. too, wow.

Michel Kreder is 5th again.

Actually 6th and out of the points.

Bah...Well if this season keeps going the way it is...

he will always finish either 4 or 6th in a sprint depending on the VDS standing and get as low as you can go on the G.C. points scale

What goes on in Oman, stays in Oman, et tu, EBH?

Tiago Machado

Not sure what the criteria is here..but Modolo should be a clear 2nd of the 5, then Keukelaire and then Machado

Sagan has come out of nowhere to challenge the top competition. In bike racing.

Yea Machado

He’s always looked good but he’s been really impressive this year.

Paul Martens

An impressive 2nd at T-A, and 15th at MSR in support of the eventual winner, even though he was definitely not near teammate Freire in the MSR finale…

What more can be said? Two victories.

I could say more, but I won't.

The Clasica de Almeria and a stage in Murcia.

I maybe don't always realize just how big some races are--Edvald Boasson Hagen, still fucking with the journalists

Yeah he is kind of old for being young talent...We knew he was talent when he broke sprinting record on the boards

he just manifested his talent. Yeah he is going to be 27 this year…that isn’t young really

I wouldn't...The track and the road are two different beasts...

He might be able to TT but his VO2 will limit him on the climbs and I think Sagan would be a better overall rider. So in the TT, I would probably go with Meyer but even if Sagan is at his P-N level then no friggin way

As much as I don't like saying...Ben Hermans for RadioShack has done very well since coming from Topsport...

he was top 10 at Criterium and he did amazing support for Horner at Sardegna

Well at least you said it, rather than deny the truth.

And he did look good. The team is looking very strong and it will be hard to pick the TdF team I would think.

I would maybe be a fan if they actually had winners on the team and not just podium talent

Top 25 VDS riders so far

And six of them are one pointers and all of them are young with only Traksel much of a veteran.

12. Jens Keukeliere- 325 points
18. Sasha Modolo-290
23. Bobbie Traksel-250
23. Sep Vanmarke-250
28. Francesco Ginanni-225

And none of them are Sagan! (I am not saying that Sagan isn’t a great talent here.)
