I think Thomas Dekker is lucky to only get a two-year doping suspension!! I think he should be kicked In the nuts everyday for two years and have his Porsche set on fire as well.
haha did he say that
good work

Who was it who said that the Garmin boys were a colorless bunch?

...
The youngest rider in this Paris-Nice is Slovakia’s Peter Sagan (Liquigas), who is 20.
The oldest rider is Jens Voigt (Team Saxo Bank), who is 39
I was making bets with myself about who'd correct this. You weren't in my top 3
"How strange it was to see men doing something beautiful. Something pointless and elegant." Tim Winton, 'Breath'
In a low time we need a 'Pedantry at PdC' thread...
It’s like a non-stop trivia game here.
"How strange it was to see men doing something beautiful. Something pointless and elegant." Tim Winton, 'Breath'
Hey Frinky, do you have television coverage for this?
"Woof, woof, woof! That's my other dog imitation."
Current leaders
1 Sagan-Liquigas
2 Tondo-Cervelo
3 Grivko-AST
4 Thomas-Sky
5 Tuft-Garmin

Can't wait to see that on video
When he started the vuelta prologue he looked like he was performing a primal scream.
'I thunk'?
Dude, did you hit your head on something?
"Woof, woof, woof! That's my other dog imitation."
For sure
The show sounded great, as did your ride. Any chance you’d make it up to Philly in June?
"Woof, woof, woof! That's my other dog imitation."
6th/7th I believe
If not there, maybe I’ll check into a trip down to Sui’s world at some point during the summer. Maybe you and troops could come up.

for now there is horse racing on that channel
were talking to a vet who knows the horses and she was talking about their various characters and how they’re doing – said the grand champions are the horses who want/like to win. So pretty much they say the exact same things for horses as humans. Plus, if my vet looked like that i’d have the healthiest two cats in all of france, mon dieux!
He'd better put in a good ride - I'm not paying him to sandbag
"Woof, woof, woof! That's my other dog imitation."
Paul Martens on Twitter:
Last important training before Tirenno! now waiting for Paris-Nice. it´s special to have a proloque with 2degr in a thin track suit. Brrrrrrr
"Awesome! is more about what gets fans excited than what’s harder to do." - Chris...
We really should arrange a chat with him!
He’s so going to rock in a couple of years.. Or so do I hope.. Maybe, Maybe even Tirreno already
And according to Laurens
he is the most overlooked rider in the peleton.
"Woof, woof, woof! That's my other dog imitation."
Morning Folks
All the stars coming….pretty nice. Hope to get some points. I managed to nothing in Murcia and Eroica.
Meanwhile….in the far far east… the 3rd best climber in the world will give me some solid 125 points. I hired him to my team just for the joke. :)

Good karma for you. Well done
"How strange it was to see men doing something beautiful. Something pointless and elegant." Tim Winton, 'Breath'
Was just reading that story
He’s 2" taller and the same weight as my daughter. I wonder if it’s too late to push her into a cycling career……………
"Woof, woof, woof! That's my other dog imitation."
Are you going to bind her feet too?
"How strange it was to see men doing something beautiful. Something pointless and elegant." Tim Winton, 'Breath'
I have farrar
but he is pretty hyped around here so it wont make any difference
"Racing bikes is for the kids, the rest of us just want to feel like kids on our bikes" - Flying Dog
I already did
in the tell us about your team thread :)
"Racing bikes is for the kids, the rest of us just want to feel like kids on our bikes" - Flying Dog
Sheesh, second thread already
Before the pictures, too.
And now we have
an advert for Midsommer Murders. What did we trade for that?
don't know about the internet feed,
but they’ve started a sort of pre-race show on paris-nice on the french telly now.
Which channel?
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
france 3 on sundays
"Wizard's first rule. People are stupid. They will believe anything they want to be true or fear to be true." -- Terry Goodkind
Yah Boo Sucks
that means you can’t get it outside France
It'll be available
I just like the French commentary team
30 secs more than wiggans
"Racing bikes is for the kids, the rest of us just want to feel like kids on our bikes" - Flying Dog
30 seconds behind Wiggins.
He said he hoped to finish w/in a minute of Wiggo, so he achieved that goal.
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
Prolly....
Said on Eurosport he thinks a top 5 is possible, that he doesn’t fell great on the climbs yet b/c he needs to lose some weight and add power.
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
who updates the vds?
it is done pretty fast
"Racing bikes is for the kids, the rest of us just want to feel like kids on our bikes" - Flying Dog
Several industrious gnomes with nothing better to do.
It's fun to beat Cancellara--Edvald Boasson Hagen
If they have a time limit
Napolitano can pack his bags.
Staring at the swim team gets you killed by a gang of dancing ninja men who know how to twirl.
Don't be suprised if he puts up a horrendous time
since he took a 2 week break when they misdiagnosed a heart problem that wasn’t really there
Anyone have viddy?
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
He's a big guy to be wiped out that way.. some of the little guys will think they're in a quidditch game..

BVLS = Belgisch Voetbal Live Stream = Belgian Footy Live Stream. It’s local people capturing TV and uploading to a stream distribution server. The blogspot site where they were earlier has been shut down already …
Cheers for that
Explains what happened to the first bookmark! Guessed it might be for such reasons. Long may they continue.
just need to know where to look...
i only found it about a week ago myself

"Racing bikes is for the kids, the rest of us just want to feel like kids on our bikes" - Flying Dog
If looking for english - ES not live in the uk til 3pm GMT
Then audio link at steephill should hopefully work
Excellent Andrewp, thanks
For those in the US, follow Andrew’s link above and click on cycling, then choose channel 2. You get the Sporza feed

Wow
Vacansoleil is a big finish line sponsor. They’re really putting in an effort to cosy up to ASO, aren’t they?
For once, it's not raining on the PN prologue. Seems it rains most years,
or maybe it just seems that way…
i've seen sun sometimes.... and the cold

LOL
Poor bubble boy…or are we calling him the human lottery ticket now?
JV shouldn't have said that
b/c now BB knows that JV thinks he has only a 1 in a gazillion chance of winning anything. For a guy who’s had issues w/ the mental aspect of the sport, that wasn’t the most reassuring thing for his boss to say….
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
Sagan and tondo on the same time?
"How strange it was to see men doing something beautiful. Something pointless and elegant." Tim Winton, 'Breath'

Remember the version of the Footon kit they unveiled?

did it have that horrible red sponsor logo in the middle?
actually . . . google team woolly mammoth
The difference, of course, is that the woolie’s INTENDED to design the ugliest kit ever.
Have you noticed the different colour leggings?
"How strange it was to see men doing something beautiful. Something pointless and elegant." Tim Winton, 'Breath'
I got embarrassed
looking even half an inch below the waist
Wise call really.
"How strange it was to see men doing something beautiful. Something pointless and elegant." Tim Winton, 'Breath'
Frankly, no.
There is so much horror going on there it’s hard to know where to begin and where to end.
"Woof, woof, woof! That's my other dog imitation."
I've seen monkeys throwing that at each other in the zoo
"Woof, woof, woof! That's my other dog imitation."
viddy resolution not good enough to see cobbles and potholes...
but by the way caspar teleported his TT bike sideways in the curve, the harsh winter must have done as much of a job in France as here.
I think they are interviewing Demol about Steegman's crash. Wish I spoke Flemish...
Can anyone translate?
Heavy crash
Definite collar bone fracture, maybe shoulder too. In the ambulance to the hospital but always conscious.
Nope
Demol lamenting outlook for Vlaanderen/Roubaix where he had hoped to see Steegmans do well once again.
And he had a concussion a couple of weeks ago, right?
Thinking hard - really hard - of something witty to say....
yep

but it wasn’t anything too serious

fuglsand interviewed by france3
“yes, i will advise schleck to use small chainwheel on initial climb to keep leg acid down, get some good spinning to take you over the cobbles and still save some juice to finish strong” – translation by interviwer: “he’ll tell him you gotta start strong and finish strong” :))
CVV in 50th-some odd place. Ouch
