F.O.D - the campaign begins.....

Many may remember Emilia Fahlin (HTC-Columbia) sending our very own crashdan a get well message last year at the Redlands Classic. crashdan was sadly quite ill and was unable to meet Emilia.

Emilia Fahlin

This year the word is out that crashdan will be at the Redlands Classic. Many members of the women peloton are quite excited about the pending crashdan event and wanted to share their support.....thus begins the 2010 Fan of Dan Campaign.

The amazing Evelyn Stevens (HTC Columbia) and Emilia's team mate:

Sprinting superstar Kelly Benjamin (Colavita/Baci).

Holy shit, steph

You are redefining awesome, you know that? I am immensely proud to be vaguely acquainted with you, and I sincerely hope that the merest trace of your awesome rubs off on me somehow.

Briljant.

Well that should cheer you up. Briljant Steph...

OMG they are going to be so disappointed

when they find out Dan is nowhere near as cute as Cuddles the Cobble. “Isn’t that Savant?” might be the most common response when meeting the real crashdan.
Very cool Steph

I wonder

if crashdan will deign to mingle with the likes of us after this adulation.

I may be a bitch, but I'm not your bitch.

Great work Steph.

I'm personally wishing that I could be at Redlands

so that we can see Dan bow down to you. Not sure anyone will have the grace and aweness that you gave him when you bowed to him last year but wow – this is impressive and serious fun! You are the Chica, chica!!!

I'm ready for this road season to wrap up. Bring on Cross!

I feel like I should sponsor my own cycling team now :)

And load it exclusively with my fans! That would be AWESOME! We’d kick so much ass!!!!

I miss Paolo Bettini. That is all.

by crashdan on Mar 9, 2010 11:39 AM EST reply actions

It's not really me I'm so happy for...

… it’s all the exposure Cuddles the Cobble is getting in the peloton :)

I miss Paolo Bettini. That is all.

… apparently I have fans…

Dude

Can we vote for which one you hook up with? Cause that would be awesome in a weird internet kid of way. If so, I vote for Erica Allar. She’s purdy. The others are all purdy too, but Erica is extra purdy….

Jimbo,

is Dan going to have to get an extra $100 from the ATM?

Just checking. Would you consider starting an Allaranche?

So how long do we think it's going to take

Stan & Ollie here to figure out they scheduled their California training-camp a few weeks too early?

by Jens on Mar 9, 2010 2:56 PM EST up reply actions

Training camp for Team VBF was last week

In fact…the pic with Alexi and Erica was taken at their training camp in Watsonville.

by steph- on Mar 9, 2010 3:08 PM EST up reply actions

Since Stan and Ollie are both married

it really doesn’t matter.

The real tragedy is that Dan was busy working on the Port Huron Statement while Erica was in town.

I'm curious...

what you did tell them? Is the “Dan” you describe in your pitch in a wheelchair? or missing an eye? or terminally ill?

by Jimbo... on Mar 10, 2010 1:38 PM EST up reply actions

And even if he's a lazy man

and Chrash was certainly that… quite possibly the laziest in Los Angeles County, which would place him high in the runnin’ for laziest worldwide… but sometimes there’s a man. . . sometimes there’s a man.
