My friend Patrick Verhoest, whose hometown of Torhout is on the Ronde Van Vlaanderen course, has been sending me his pictures from his local races, and they're so nice, I just had to share them with you all. 

Like all good Flandrians, Patrick is a huge Tommeke fan, so I decided to open with the above shot, taken at the start of the E3 Prijs.
