I caught up with Brent Bookwalter in Brunico, at the start of stage 17, and had the chance to ask him a couple of questions. After the interview, Brent asked me to thank everyone at Podium Cafe for the care package, which arrived just a few days before he left Girona. He said he wished he had brought some peanut butter with him to the Giro, because he needs all the fuel he can get here.
