Trivia question

Which riders in recent times have held the leader's jersey in all 3 Grand Tours?

I don't know the answer and I'll be offline for much today, but as a start I can think of:

Contador

Evans

McGee

I need 75 words so the rest is just filler.  The question was prompted by Evans taking Pink in stage 2; actually I think he got the collection in last year's Vuelta.  Contador obviously.  And McGee due to his prologue expertise.

Maybe an accountant can help with the answer to this?

Doh do I feel foolish

Didn’t see Contador listed in your question. Guess I had my Aussie Filter on :-)

Did Indurain ever lead the Vuelta?

Or maybe some sprinters… they often get to wear the leader jersey early on

Hinault Gimondi and Anquetil

have all won all 3 along with Eddy and Alberto, so there’s five easy answers.

I am again mistaken

Never led the Giro, was part of a TTT winning Garmin team but VdV got to wear the jersey

Thanks... he's had the white jersey, so I thought he was worth a shot.

Cancellara?

yet :)

on this topic - has Vino been welcomed to ride the tour?

Perhaps “welcomed” is not the right term, but given the bad blood (very poor pun), is there a reason to believe he might not be able to ride???
