Marc de Maar becomes Dutch Antillean

United Healthcare rider Marc de Maar applied for a license at the Netherlands Antilles in a try to get a start in the WC this year. There is some talk about a passport in the news article but that is nonsense. Netherlands Antilles and the Netherlands have the same passport. The national coach that is mentioned is the coach of my former team. Suddenly it's a lot cooler that I once earned CQ points in a Netherlands Antilles NC race!
