Tour Hottitude: The 2010 Edition
A hottitude thread needs no introduction for anyone who has been around the cafe for more than a couple months. For those new members (or lurkers) give it a day or so and it will all be clear. Here is a handy start list at Steephill.tv sortable by country, team or age. As well as a bunch of images in the Podium Cafe group on Flickr that our members have given permission for use here. Just be sure to credit the owner.
Let's try to keep this edition constrained to riders who are on a team roster to ride the 2010 Tour de France. This won't be too difficult. From what I hear Footon-Servetto has an entire team of Tour virgins with an average age of 25 years old. I mean, who can resist a guy named Eros?

More after the jump....
And, of course, the man we love to love:
George Hincapie by Zoe-Rochelle on flickr.com
And how about the lovely Mr. Boom?
Lars Boom by Marvin Johnson from flickr.com
With so many first time riders added to the tried and true of cafe hottitude history, I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Would you believe I was going to do this tonight?!
But chapeau Zoe, you beat me to it ;-))

oh, he's adorable.
Of course I am mostly gay, and also think Andy Schleck is hot. They both look like slightly aloof hipster lesbians. I wish I could get my hair to do that.
And always, Fabian: posted last year, but still, this picture! http://www.tdwsport.com/webshop/picture/showPicture/104845&year=2009 Rawr.

Oh
I’ve mostly been reading rather than posting but I had to dip in here of course ;)
Some love for the French. Anthony Geslin anyone? His smile is lovely

Oh and more Eros :D

(credit’s on the bottom, yup)
Venga Caisse d'Epargne!
Helsy! Was wondering if you'd show up!
We NEED your contributions…nobody is better at unearthing Spanish talent ;-)
"A mountain is not an obstacle, it is an opportunity" - Robert Millar
Yaaaaay!
O/T…what do you think to the Spanish footy boys?! :P
"A mountain is not an obstacle, it is an opportunity" - Robert Millar
Err...
Well, there’s not as many hotties as I’d like.
Torres’ new hair= sexy
Cesc! (Obviously)
Llorente isn’t bad
Mata and Arbeloa need to play more
You?
Venga Caisse d'Epargne!
Villa and Casillas float my boat, in addition to all of the above ;-)
"A mountain is not an obstacle, it is an opportunity" - Robert Millar
Am i the only woman who doesn't like Casillas? :p
Villa has that cheeky thing going for him, but his height turns me right off. Bad, I know
Venga Caisse d'Epargne!
Don't think Lou likes him either
"A mountain is not an obstacle, it is an opportunity" - Robert Millar
at least we all agree Fernando Torres is hottitude, right?
moi, I love Xabi as well…..
this is easier than rbjhan i hope....
Oh yes! So cherubic. I just wish he'd play a little better.
Xabi too…but you know my feelings about Basque boys ;-)
"A mountain is not an obstacle, it is an opportunity" - Robert Millar
Nope :-)
Don’t get me wrong, I love San Iker. I don’t find him attractive, though ;-)
Now the other two RM vice-captains, OTOH… they definitely float my boat ;-). Sergio… ‘nuff said, yeah? And JosĂ© MarĂa… well, that’s a peculiar thing, really. Not typical of my taste at all. Yet my beloved Guti has me completely bewitched. Check the eyes…
Ooo this thread is cheering me up no end today!
Jesus Navas? What do we think to him? In my book he’s a MASSIVE yes :-))
"A mountain is not an obstacle, it is an opportunity" - Robert Millar
He has potential
… he won’t woo me ‘til I see better displays on the pitch, though. And I’m not talking about displays of skin here, either, LOL.
... need to be on the ball, LOL
See, part of the reason why I find Guti’s eyes so bewitching is that he has eyes in the back of his head. (My, what a weird sentence…)
Navas has potential ;-). A little more awesome from him, and who knows…
thought it was a girl there

Poor Pippo, he is so much hotter in real life. That’s an awful picture.
I should really learn to read all comments before I post...

Is it just me or is that picture severely photoshopped?
His head doesn’t match the torso and the torso doesn’t match the legs.
I don’t know…you may call me crazy on this one, but Only God can judge me.

Yes, I'm sure his arms are not so thin in real life

Phil, will you be paying for my therapy?
Man’s on my VDS team… I need to be able to look at him again, yeah? I need to cheer for the man, not try to blank out his existance!
Spaniards. I have to right?
My Caisse boys are bringing some pretty. Obviously with Luis!

Rojas too though! (Mark Gunter image)

Imanol Erviti is underrated in every sense. Plus his TT position looks so good.

Alberto looking rather hot!

Sammy Sanchez is adorable in his own ways right?

(Failing a bit to remember who to credit for some of those, so err, sorry!)
Venga Caisse d'Epargne!
Awwwww the Sammy/Igor moment makes me go all gooey inside

Totally! I still wish Igor had won though ;-)

Ivan Velasco has his moments!

Yes, but such a pity the REAL Euskie hottitude is elsewhere...
Intxausti, Anton, Castroviejo, De Lis, Aramendia…mmm

Yes, I miss those boys!!
Haven’t seen anywhere near enough of Castroviejo or De Lis this year :-( Please do ToB boys..

Lol...he seems like a nice guy, but if his eyes were any further apart he'd need blinkers :)

Odd, Boom's never done it for me. I must be in a minority!

Have you met Boom?
Might change your view on him…he is quite charming I tell you. That smile will melt your heart I tell you. Plus, he’s big…I guess I have a thing for big Dutchies and Belgians!

No I haven't.
There are certainly some people who are hotter in person…I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt ;-)

Very nice celerity. How is Melbourne?
"A mountain is not an obstacle, it is an opportunity" - Robert Millar
Cold!
I don’t start my new job till next week, (just in time for tour-derived sleep deprivation!), so I’ve had lots of time to get things organised and get to know my new neighbourhood – which is awesome btw. There are about 6 pubs in a 2 block radius, and the only one I’ve been to so far has an entire wall of fridges full of international beers, including all the belgian classics.
A Belgian beer pub?! Gosh, you've landed on your feet there!
"A mountain is not an obstacle, it is an opportunity" - Robert Millar
well it's not ONLY belgian beer
they have beer from lots of other countries too!
My biggest problem is that I dont knom many people here, so don’t have many people to drink it with (although there may be many takers around during the wc)

Llody Mondory-- WHAT a pleasant surprise!
Also, I have to say it…Alberto Contador. Something about the combination of baby face and steely eyes that just works for me
