that EBH will be relieved from babysitting duties given Wiggins’ mediocre performance. They have high hopes for the stage to Gap. I’m not sure if anybody wants to take EBH with them in a break, but that is just me being a pessimist as always.
The next 4 stages should suit Edvald
Don’t think the others care that much, just change the tactics perpaps.

And Lotto must be very happy today
Let Cadel go and have a local rider who has a much brighter Tour future, starting this year.
BMC can pay Cadel’s salary has he declines.
Yeah, that's got to hurt Evans, too.
After being told last year VDB was future team leader, and if he were still in the team Evans might get to co-lead.
Dans le final, j'avais des jambes de feu--Sylvain Chavanel, after his win on Stage 7
meh
He looks very much like a Basso in his early days on Fassa. Steady, hanging around. If he can get one level sharper….
And that is all that matters, yes?
World champion. GT podiums. Good classics racer. Evans >>VDB at the moment.
Yes, it was. Allow me to rephrase.
VDB will never be World Chapion or win a Grand Tour.
The odds are against him
and anyone, really. I don’t see it happening from here, either, but who knows how he might grow.
Ceci n'est pas une signature.
It is speculation, of course. Mind you, I really like VDB, He's on my team for X sakes! :)
I just don’t think it is fair to say that Evans is in decline. In my mind he is having his best 12 months as a rider. I think VDB has yet to earn the respect that should be showed to Cadel. Hence my rash and tabloid comment.
a bit of grime out on the road there, levi?

He probably has not been informed that I have recruited him for my team.
I’m sure he will get the memo in a couple of days.
Finish at bottom was ok
Didn’t need mountain top. Would have been neater slightly shorter at the end – say a kilometer or two from the bottom. But I liked it.
Every mountain day a war
between Schleck and Contador.
Should be Epic.
Watch out for the jour sans in Pyrenees
Jens Voigt doesn’t know where you live, but he knows exactly where you will die.
I'd say letting his team down would be his biggest issue today... from his perspective.

Asked if there are any special diets among the nine riders he smiles: "Yes - nine. If they weren't special, they wouldn't be riding the Tour de France". Soren Kristensen, Chef, Team Sky

there was a graphic displaying that he had been in front more than 90% of the time in the last 10 minutes (somewhere with 5 km to go)

Indeed
Navarro is the leader in the golden lunchbox competition, given to the rider who does the most pulls for his boss.
Vlaanderens Mooiste
He didn't pull long
because he absolutely blew himself apart for a km which led to only Alberto and Andy being with him, he dropped everyone else. And Jens! of course killing himself for his leader.

That has been an important team tactic from the start: hire & neutralise
Think Heras, Klöden, others.
Ceci n'est pas une signature.
Give me a break, where has Kloden's ambition
been in the past 2 year when not riding for Lance? There are a lot of races each year, and if you want to win races, RS would be happy to have the wins. Heras was stronger than Lance on one climb one time. The idea of neutralizing him is your fantasy. They got him so that they would have the best domestiques they could get to put in front of Lance.
