Oh is this what they were showing interviews about...

…when I got back to my hotel one night last weekend?

It was part of a daily late night Tour show, yes

Each night there are 2 new guests, often from the cycling world. Marianne Vos & Michael Boogerd were guests on July 13th: http://nos.nl/video/171863-avondetappe-13-juli.html

not sure who Marten is

but damn, Mariane can climb. and it looks like dancing to me.

Maarten Ducrot

was there mainly because he’s the regular cycling commentator on Dutch TV, in the expert role as former pro. He’s 52.

I'm always amazed by people who can climb like this...

…and talk without being out of breathe. Perhaps because I climb like a brick…

Oh, and I didn’t understand a lick of that, but it was fun to watch. Thanks.

If she'd been taking the One Ring to Mordor...

Those films would have been a lot bloody shorter!

Ha ha...

is anyone even surprised? Marianne Vos can climb at 5+ w/kg for an hour.

In his day I’m sure Maarten could climb quite well, but at over 50, it is just no comparison.
