Cascade Classic Stage 3
Today saw the boys from UHC control the peloton, while a two man break went up the road in the usual manner. The Howelesko - Fly V Australia driven break was brought home as the 5 K marker blurred past. The finish came down to a field sprint of about 30 riders. Raymond Kreder (Felt/Howelesko), Darrren Lil (Fly V Australia), and Rory Sutherland (UHC) took the podium honors. Sutherland holds on to the GC.
On the woman's side Mara Abbott continues in all three jerseys, as race leader, QOM, and Points leader. After a solo win today.
More photos to follow shortly.

We're spread pretty thin on this thing
as Fred is also working support for a team during the race. Feel free to add what details you have!
straight up?
I was 1/2 mile away at the finish. With no real insight to add, beyond names, I opted to let others who had better sources cover that angle. Brian Holcombe at Velonews did very well covering it from both the riders perspective and the promoters. Also by the time I got back into town to where I coiuld poach a wifi link, it seemed well covered by anyone else who couild read a tweet.

update.
Taylor Sheldon has been released from the local hospital, with no major injuries. Andrew Talansky was treated on scene. There is still an ongoing discussion as to whether the accident was rider error or couirse issues. Breakaway Promotions stands behind the past safety record for the course. Weanwhile riders are questioninghte safty of courses that use traffic cones to arbitarily desgnate the route through a p[arking lot as in the case athe finish yesterday.
